The Indian cricket team fans are ecstatic after Rohit Sharma lost the toss at the World Cup Final at the Narendra Modi Stadium. They believe that Australia captain Pat Cummins has committed the same mistake that former India skipper Sourav Ganguly made in the 2003 World Cup Final.
For those who are unaware, India won the toss in 2003, and skipper Ganguly chose to bowl first. From there, Ricky Ponting led Australia to utterly dominate the Men in Blue, scoring a mammoth 359 runs and going on to win by a huge margin of 124 runs.
With Australia skipper Pat Cummins making the same mistake, the Indian fans are confident that their team will emerge on top, two decades after the Aussies rag-dolled the Indian side.
