ISPL Opening Ceremony: Sachin Tendulkar dances on ‘Naatu Naatu’ song with Ram Charan

Team owners including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Saif & Kareena Kapoor-Khan, Suriya Sivakumar, Hrithik Roshan, and Ram Charan will be present at the occasion with their presence.

Ahead of the grand opening ceremony of the inaugural season of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was seen practising his moves to the famous oscar winning ‘Naatu Naatu’ song alongside team owners Ram Charan and Akshay Kumar. The T10 League is all set to commence its first season on Wednesday, at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Mumbai.

What else is happening in the ISPL Opening Ceremony?

To kick off the tournament in style, a special ‘Exhibition Match’ will see the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s Master XI facing off against Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s Khiladi XI.

Adding to the excitement, the tournament opener between Srinagar Ke Veer and Majhi Mumbai will follow at 7:30 PM, ensuring a thrilling start to the ISPL tournament.

The grand opening ceremony will showcase a musical festival headlined by a live performance from ‘Gully Boy’ fame actor Siddhant Chaturvedi and the Dharavi Rockers Band. Additionally, the ceremony will feature a drone show by Karishma Kotak, along with the national anthem led by Amitabh Bachchan.

The ISPL will witness intense competition among six formidable teams – Chennai Singams, Tiigers of Kolkata, Falcon Risers Hyderabad, Bangalore Strikers, and Srinagar Ke Veer – as they compete for the prestigious ISPL Championship title.

Spanning from March 6 to March 15, 2024, the tournament promises to revolutionize the traditional sport of cricket with its innovative T10 format, featuring 10 overs per inning.
