Ishan Kishan makes outrageous statement, claims Hardik Pandya ‘happy’ with crowd booing him

Hardik has been jeered at by the crowd at every venue he's gone to, including at 'home' the Wankhede Stadium.

Who enjoys getting booed or jeered by the crowd? Well, apparently, Hardik Pandya. The Mumbai Indians (MI) captain who’s been targeted by the crowd everyone he’s went, is ‘happy’ that the fans are at odds with him. This outrageous claim has been made by his teammate Ishan Kishan.

After his brilliant 69-run knock, Kishan came for the post-match press-conference had made the shocking claim. The southpaw opener claimed that Hardik isn’t upset about being booed, he said: “He is happy with people doing it.”

Kishan also has a reasoning behind the claim, stating that once he gets among run, all will be forgotten and people will move ahead. He also added that Hardik in a good head space despite being the public being harsh on him.

“In the coming games, he will do (well) with the bat and people will start loving him again. Because you’re doing well and people will also recognize your hard work. What you’re going through and still what you’re doing for the team. I think people do recognise that and our fans are like that. They can be a little harsh on you but at the same time, when you show that it isn’t bothering you, and you’re in a good head space and willing to perform well, that might change. If not today, then tomorrow. If not tomorrow, then the day after,” he added.
