Ishan Kishan, the Mumbai Indians’ wicketkeeper-batsman, exited the pitch midway through the Gujarat Titans’ innings on Friday. Kishan himself during their IPL 2023 Qualifier 2 match against the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi stadium. Kishan stepped straight into Chris Jordan, who was putting on his cap, just before the start of the 17th over. Jordan’s elbow grazed Kishan’s left eye.
Ishan Kishan left the field and did not return. Vishnu Vinod donned the gloves for the rest of the innings. The left-hander did not even return to bat, with Vishnu coming on as a concussion substitute.
