Politics on Cards for Mohammed Shami?
However, after the ankle surgery, Mohammed Shami is all set to miss the IPL 2024 and the T20 World Cup as well. But if a report from India Today TV is to be believed, something new is on cards for him. The report claims that Shami might contest the Lok Sabha elections from West Bengal.
In fact, a political party has already reached out to the pacer. But what could it mean, as far as his cricketing career stands? Does that mean, that his international career is nearing end? If all this happens to be true, it might just be very difficult for him to manage his both responsibilities simultaneously, he might have to eventually give up on cricket.
