In video being shared on social media, former World Cup winning skipper Kapil Dev can be seen being manhandled by two individuals while his hands are tied and his mouth has been taped as well. “Anyone else received this clip, too? Hope it’s not actually @therealkapildev and that Kapil Paaji is fine!” Gautam Gambhir captioned the clip. This video can also be from an advertisement shoot or promotional event. However, there is no clear update on the matter as of now.

While nothing seems to be clear for now, fans on social media claimed that it is for an Ad. Some of them also lashed out at celebrities and sportspersons for stooping too low just for the sake of money. One user wrote, “These people may be making ads for sure but this nonsense will be circulating on WhatsApp forward for months now.” Another commented, “Disgusting way for viewership, at least respect our legends.” “What a disgusting way to make an ad,” wrote another user.
