Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan picks his 15-member India squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. One surprising inclusion in the list is pacer Mohsin Khan. The bowler, who currently plays for LSG, has been troubled by injuries in the past. However, Pathan backs Mohsin to make it to the squad this year.
Pathan’s India squad for T20 World Cup ft. Mohsin Khan
In a video shared by ESPNCricinfo on their YouTube channel, Pathan discusses his 15-member squad for the marquee event. The batters picked by the ex-India all-rounder comprise of all the usual suspects, namely Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav and Rinku Singh.
Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja are the two all-rounders picked by Pathan. When it comes to wicketkeepers, he believes that two out of KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant and Jitesh Sharma should be included. He feels Pant and Sharma are frontrunners for the spot. His pick for spinners include Kuldeep Yadav and Ravi Bishnoi.
In the pace department, Pathan picks Bumrah and Siraj. Apart from these two, he believes either Arshdeep Singh or Mohsin Khan should be included.
