Ireland have a packed schedule prior to T20 WC
Ireland has a busy schedule leading up to the World Cup. They will play two T20I series – one against Pakistan at home and another tri-series in the Netherlands involving Scotland. The squads for these series are nearly identical to the World Cup squad, with the only difference being the later inclusion of Little.
Irish fans will be buoyed by their team’s performance in the 2022 edition of the tournament held in Australia. There, Ireland produced some memorable upsets, defeating powerhouses like West Indies and England. They will be hoping to replicate that success and make a deep run in the 2024 edition, which will be played in the West Indies and the USA.
