The left-handed opening batsman, Shikhar Dhawan had been transferred from Sunrisers Hyderabad to Delhi Capitals at his existing IPL salary contract INR 5.2cr.
The revamped Delhi Capitals has traded in the veteran opener Dhawan from the Sunrisers Hyderabad for the upcoming IPL season, kick start from 23rd March, marking a return home for the swashbuckling left-handed opener. The move would see Dhawan don the colours of Delhi Capitals with whom he had stated his IPL sojourn in the inaugural 2008 season.
