Ever since the Playoffs were introduced in 2011, only three batsmen in IPL history has managed to register a hundred in Qualifier 2 matches. The first to register a three-figure mark was former Indian opener Murali Vijay. The CSK opener slammed 113 runs against Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2012.
The next centurion was also an Indian batsman. Virender Sehwag, who represented Kings XI Punjab has the record for the highest individual score in Qualifier 2. The dashing opener slammed 122 runs against Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2014.
The third highest score in Qualifier 2 is registered by Rajasthan Royals opener Jos Buttler. England’s ODI and T20 skipper slammed an unbeaten 106 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2022.
