InsideSport has learnt that Shahrukh Khan hasn’t had an interaction with the players since Aryan Khan was detained to avoid any attention. But he has remained in touch with Venky Mysore and senior officials and have kept a tab on the dressing room situation.

“It’s really sad that he won’t be there to cheer the team from the stands, especially with the season we have had. In normal circumstances, he would have definitely gone to Dubai. But he has remained in touch with the senior officials. He has understandably maintained distance with the players but his support will be with us,” one of the franchise insiders told InsideSport.
IPL 2021 Finals, CSK vs KKR: However, the situation in KKR is strange. They have had a fairytale turnaround having finished the first half at 7th place with just two wins and five losses. But after the break, KKR turned it around even though skipper Eoin Morgan’s poor form continued. KKR won seven out of nine matches including the eliminator and Qualifier 2 to reach the finals against CSK.

During this turnaround, Shahrukh Khan was missing from the picture.
