One of the sick fans in Jaipur was seen teasing the cheerleaders by saying ‘unwanted cheesy lines.’ One or two cheerleaders waved at those sick fans, but it seems he was not content with that, and yet again started to harass by saying a few creepy words. IPL Cheerleaders: Netizens unimpressed by fans’ behavior towards cheerleaders, says ‘the man should have been thrown out
The viral video has not impressed the netzines and they feel that guy should be thrown out of the stadium right away. A few fans felt the cheerleaders’ concept should completely stop in IPL as Indians don’t deserve it.
For the uninitiated, this is not the first time in IPL that we have seen instances of cheerleaders facing harassment. During the previous seasons, even players were involved in harassing cheerleaders.
Due to COVID-19 protocols, the cheerleaders were banned from entertaining audiences, but after the relaxation of norms, the cheerleaders marked their presence in IPL after two years. This latest incidence has again shed light on cheerleaders being in IPL to up the glam quotient.
IPL 2023: SRH stay in the hunt by beating RR in a close thriller
Speaking about the game, SRH stayed in the hunt to qualify for playoffs by beating RR by four wickets. It seemed RR would close the game as they were ahead, right till the 18th, only to lose momentum as Glenn Phillips played a blinder by scoring 25 runs in just seven balls.
On account of this win, SRH registered their fourth win in the competition and have given themselves a shot to qualify in the playoffs.
