The date for the IPL captain’s meet is finally out. The pre-season event is scheduled to place in Mumbai, at the BCCI office on March 20. As per a report in Cricbuzz, the managers of all the teams are also invited to attend the event. The report further says, that the meeting will be more of a briefing for the tournament and will last an hour.

The teams will further will informed about the new additions and changes for the season. Post that, the sponsor activities will take place at the Taj Hotel. That will be followed by the photo shoot of all the IPL captains. Meanwhile, the change this year would be, usually this photoshoot takes place in the season opener venue city, but that won’t be the case this time.
That only goes on to signify that there could be some major announcement on March 20. The 10 skippers at the event would be Axar Patel (DC), Hardik Pandya (MI), Pat Cummins (SRH), Ruturaj Gaikwad (CSK), Rajat Patidar (RCB), Rishabh Pant (LSG), Shreyas Iyer (PBKS), Sanju Samson (RR), Ajinkya Rahane (KKR), and Shubman Gill (GT).
Axar Patel to Attend for DC, Rajat Patidar for RCB
Axar and Rajat are the new entrants in the list of the captains. Having said that, the first match of IPL 2025 will be played between KKR and RCB in Kolkata.
On the other hand, most of the players for all the franchises have arrived in India for the tournament. While there were a few reservations about the full participation of Pat Cummins for SRH, given the WTC final from June 11, but he has confirmed his availability.
