The IPL 2025 kicks off with KKR vs RCB in Kolkata at the Eden Gardens on March 22, and rightly so, there is a great buzz around it, as usual. While some lucky ones get to see their favorite stars in the stadiums itself, the other get to see the IPL matches, either on their phones, TVs or computer screens.

But this time around, there is another way that the IPL 2025 matches can be enjoyed. Now, PVR INOX has announced the premiering of live matches, across India. In short, the have come into a partnership with the BCCI, for the live screening of the matches. The screenings will be available in the following regions:
- Maharashtra: Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Nanded, Latur
- Gujarat: Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Anand, Jamnagar
- West Bengal & Northeast: Kolkata, Guwahati
- Eastern & Central India: Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh (Indore), Chhattisgarh (Raipur)
- Rajasthan: Udaipur, Jaipur
- Haryana: Faridabad, Gurgaon, Panipat, Yamuna Nagar
- Punjab: Chandigarh, Mohali, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar
- Telangana: Hyderabad
- Karnataka: Bangalore, Dharwad
- Kerala: Kochi, Thrissur, Trivandrum
- Andhra Pradesh: Visakhapatnam (Vizag), Vijayawada

Meanwhile, it is a packed calendar for the IPL. The weekends will also see double-header clashes, starting March 23 — where SRH will take on RR in Hyderabad at 3.30 PM, followed by CSK vs MI in Chennai at 7.30 PM. For the record, there will be 12 double-header encounters in the IPL 2025, ending on May 11.
Having said that, the first encounter of the tournament — KRR vs RCB face a risk of being washed out due to rain. An Orange Alert was announced by the authorities, for the day of the match, where the possibility of precipitation is over 80%. In case, no result comes out, both the teams will share one point each.
