1. Sai Sudharsan (Gujarat Titans)

Sudharsan continued to enjoy success at the top of the order for GT in week 2 of IPL 2025. He set the tone for the team’s run-chase against RCB in Bengaluru with a 49-run knock off 36 deliveries, studded with 7 fours and 1 six. GT ended up winning the game by a mammoth 8-wicket margin. His only failure in IPL 2025 so far came against SRH where he was dismissed for just 5 runs.

2. Mitchell Marsh (Lucknow Super Giants)

Mitchell Marsh, who continues to be consistent for LSG, had a mixed week. The Australian was dismissed for a duck in LSG’s very first home game against PBKS. However, Marsh turned it around in the very next game.

He managed to score 60 runs off 31 deliveries against Mumbai Indians at the Ekana stadium. He finished as the side’s top-scorer in that game where Pant & co. secured a 12-run win.

3. Jos Buttler (Gujarat Titans)

Like Marsh, Buttler too had a mixed week. Riding on his fine form from week 1, he scored an unbeaten 73-run knock against RCB to guide GT to victory. However. he was dismissed for a duck in the game against SRH.

4. Shreyas Iyer (Punjab Kings)

Iyer’s red-hot form spilt into the second week of IPL 2025 as well. He stayed unbeaten on 52 runs in the game against LSG, handing them a loss in their very first home game. In the next game vs RR, he scored 10 runs at PBKS’ home ground Mullanpur before he was sent packing. It was that very game in which PBKS were handed their first loss of the season.

5. KL Rahul (Delhi Capitals)

Rahul returned as DC’s opener for the game against CSK in the absence of Faf du Plessis. And guess what, he aced his role. With a 77-run knock off 51 balls, the Karnataka batter showed pure aggression against the CSK bowlers, including IPL 2025’s Purple Cap holder Noor Ahmad. Once again, Rahul proved that he could excel no matter where he is asked to bat at.

6. Nehal Wadhera (Punjab Kings)

Having made his move from MI to PBKS, Wadhera has been outstanding for his new team. With 43* and 62-run knocks against LSG and RR respectively, he was arguably one of the best batters for PBKS in week 2 of IPL 2025.

7. Hardik Pandya (Mumbai Indians)

MI skipper Hardik continued to be the only consistent performer for the side so far in IPL 2025. Against KKR, he finished with figures of 1/10. His best performance, albeit in a losing cause, came against LSG where he created history. He became the first captain in IPL to take a five-wicket haul. He finished with figures of 5/36. However, despite staying unbeaten on 28, he couldn’t take his team across the line in the run-chase.

8. Wanindu Hasaranga (Rajasthan Royals)

Hasaranga had a decent second week in IPL 2025. He finished with 4/35 against CSK, helping RR complete the humiliation against the five-time champs in Guwahati. In the next game vs PBKS, he managed to take 1 wicket and conceded 36 runs.

9. Ashwani Kumar (Mumbai Indians)

After Vignesh Puthur, MI unveiled another hidden gem in the form of Ashwani. The pacer impressed on his IPL debut with a stunning 4/24 against KKR at the Wankhede. He registered the joint best figures by an Indian bowler on his IPL debut with that spell.

10. Mohammed Siraj (Gujarat Titans)

By far, Siraj had the best week in IPL 2025 compared to all other players. First, he avenged his release from his former team RCB with a breathtaking 3/19 spell at the Chinnaswamy stadium. Things got more sweeter in his next game. He registered his career best figures of 4/17 against SRH, decimating their batting line-up.

11. Sai Kishore (Gujarat Titans)

Another consistent GT performer is Sai Kishore. The spinner has outshone his teammate and magician Rashid Khan so far in IPL 2025. His outstanding spell of 2/22 against RCB at a Chinnaswamy surface which has never been kind to bowlers was simply unbelievable. He replicated the heroics once again in Hyderabad against SRH with a spell of 2/24.
