Unlike the usual two, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) will play three matches at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamshala in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. Kings’ home base is the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, but in the past, they have played some of their home matches at a neutral venue.

It was previously reported that the Punjab Kings will play two matches at the HPCA Stadium and the remaining five home matches in Mullanpur. According to ESPNcricinfo, for reasons unknown, PBKS will shift one extra home fixture to Dharamshala.
13 grounds for 74 matches in IPL 2025
This means that the IPL 2025 season will be played across 13 venues. Apart from Punjab Kings, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) will play two home matches at a neutral venue. Of their seven home matches, five will be played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, and the remaining two at the Barsapara Cricket (ACA) Stadium in Assam.
The other team is Delhi Capitals (DC). They are expected to play their first two home games of the IPL 2025 season at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Vizag and the remaining five at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The remaining seven teams will play all of their home fixtures at their bases.
Defending champions, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), will kick off the IPL 2025 season. They’ll face the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Eden Gardens on March 22. On March 23, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will start their campaign at home against RR in the afternoon. The night game will see the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) take on the Mumbai Indians (MI) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
