Team RCB is just desperate to land an IPL title next year. Just a couple of weeks after assembling their IPL 2025 squad, at the IPL Auction, the team started their pre-season camp in Bengaluru on Monday itself. Not only a few months are left for the tournament, but the tentative window for the tournament isn’t decided as yet. But then, the management and coach Andy Flower have made their intentions mighty clear for Virat Kohli‘s team.
RCB Holds Pre-season Camp
Speaking of the IPL Auction for the RCB team, the team did make a questionable calls, by not retaining or bagging Mohammed Siraj and Glenn Maxwell, but made up for the losses after bagging Phil Salt and even Josh Hazlewood. One of the major signings for them this year was that of promising England all-rounder Jacob Bethell, who is much talked-about. Also, the inclusion of veteran Bhuvneshwar Kumar, will strengthen their bowling.

Meanwhile, the pre-season camp was attended by a host of players — even the ones playing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, including Krunal Pandya, Bhuvi, Rajat Patidar, Jitesh Sharma, Yash Dayal, and even Rasikh Dar. Of course, the likes of Virat and Hazlewood aren’t part of the camp, due to their national duties in the IND vs AUS series, that is locked at 1-1 for now.
Meanwhile, there are reports that Virat Kohli might just be made the skipper of the franchise once again, after the team axed Faf Du Plessis. If that’s true, that might just bode well for the team and the players.
