Predicted SRH Playing XI vs DC: Rahul Chahar-Adam Zampa to tackle Axar Patel & Co.

In the last match played in Visakhapatnam, 11 of the 17 wickets were taken by spinners.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will want to return to their winning ways in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Having been comfortably beaten by the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their last game, SRH would want to move up the IPL 2025 points table. The Pat Cummins-led side will take on the Delhi Capitals (DC) at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium to leave the LSG defeat behind.

No change in batting

SRH has a proven method and won’t change much. The top three will remain the same. Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head and Ishan Kishan have played well so far, and there won’t be any need to change their positions.

The 2016 champions have clearly decided they’ll outbat their opponents. That is why SRH will have seven proper batters. Nitish Kumar Reddy and Heinrich Klaasen will be in the top five, and the two new additions, Aniket Verma and Abhinav Manohar, will look to end the innings on a high. One mustn’t forget that Pat Cummins and Harshal Patel possess power-hitting abilities as well.

Rahul Chahar to play against DC

There will be one change in the bowling lineup. Despite doing well against the Rajasthan Royals, Simarjeet Singh will sit out. That won’t be because of his performance against LSG but due to the nature of the surface in Visakhapatnam. Wrist spinner did well there last time, and SRH would bring in Rahul Chahar.

As for the impact substitute player, Adam Zampa has come in both times, and one can expect the same this time around as well.
