IPL 2025 will kick-off with a dazzling opening ceremony planned at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on March 22. From Shreyas Ghoshal’s performance to a drone show, fans are in for a visual and musical treat ahead of the start of the high-octane contest. Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the tournament opener.
IPL 2025 opening ceremony schedule out
The grand event will begin at 6 PM. The opening ceremony will commence with KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan delivering a monologue. Singer Shreya Ghosal will then perform for the fans at the Eden Gardens from 18.13 PM to 18.29 PM. Following the musical treat, actor Disha Patani will be in action. Singer Karan Aujla is also scheduled to perform.
Following these performances, Shah Rukh Khan is set to moderate a chat between cricketers before inviting BCCI officials and celebs on stage. A cake cutting and drone show will be the last acts before a photo-op with the IPL 2025 trophy, officials, SRK, celebs and the two captains.
