Royal Challengers Bengaluru has received a massive boost. Their newest acquisition in the Indian Premier League (IPL) Bhuveneshwar Kumar continues to showcase his class. The veteran speedster has scraped a sensational hattrick in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar‘s hattrick exploits came in the 17th over. The Uttar Pradesh pacer went on to unleash his rampage against Jharkhand in the T20 game. His exploits helped Uttar Pradesh bag a 10-run win over Jharkhand.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is now no longer in the scheme of things for the India Cricket Team. He went on to unleash his carnage against Jharkhand in the 17th over of the game. He went on to bag the hat trick in what was a maiden over. At the end of his spell, he gave away 6 runs and picked a maiden over.
Bhuvi last played an international match for India against New Zealand back in 2022 November. Following this, he actively played domestic cricket and performed well in the Indian Premier League.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar was not retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad. And as a result, he underwent the hammer in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. After an active bidding war, it was Royal Challengers Bengaluru who scooped up the player for a whopping price of 10.75 crores. Bhuvi joined SRH back in 2014 and played a crucial role in SRH lifting the title. The ace pacer had been a massive player in IPL after he won the purple cap back in 2016 and 2017.
