Gujarat Titans (GT) beat Mumbai Indians (MI) by 36 runs for their first win in IPL 2025. GT, after being asked to bat first, scored 196/8 in 20 overs. B Sai Sudharsan hit a half-century, with good support from captain Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler. MI’s batting struggled from the start as Mohammed Siraj got Rohit Sharma out in the first over. Suryakumar Yadav was the top scorer with 48 runs, but Prasidh Krishna bowled excellently to keep MI in check. MI skipper Hardik Pandya bowled well after coming back from suspension but couldn’t perform with the bat.
