What happened in yesterday’s IPL match?
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) won against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) with 5 wickets in hand at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday. They chased down the target of 191 in just 16 overs.
LSG held SRH to 190/9, thanks to Shardul Thakur, who took four wickets. For SRH, Travis Head scored the highest with 47 runs, while Aniket Verma and Nitish Kumar Reddy added 36 and 32 runs, respectively.
Mohammed Shami gave SRH a good start by getting Aiden Markram out early, but Nicholas Pooran and Mitch Marsh turned the game around for LSG. Pooran smashed 70 runs off 26 balls, and Marsh hit 52 off 31 balls, putting LSG in a strong position before Pat Cummins took their wickets.
