IPL 2025 auction: Most expensive players in IPL auction history

Rishabh Pant has broken the record for the most expensive player in Indian Premier League history, with Rs. 27 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction could witness a new record for the most expensive player, with Rishabh Pant becoming the highest-paid player in IPL auction history. LSG bought him for Rs. 27 crore for IPL 2025.

Shreyas Iyer has already surpassed the Rs. 24.75 crore mark, previously set by Mitchell Starc, who was bought by KKR in IPL 2024 for the same amount. But, Pant took over Iyer to become the cosliest player in the history.

Iyer has been bought by Punjab Kings as their second player with highest bid in IPL history with 26.75 crore on November 24 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The player has broken all record as he surpassed Starc to become most expensive player.

Rishabh Pant is the most expensive player in the IPL 2025 mega auction. His has broken Shreyas Iyer record, who was bidded 26.75 crore in the same auction.

Currently, Arshdeep Singh is the second-most expensive player, holding the record for the highest-bid Indian pacer in IPL auction history.
