Time is ticking, and the clock is moving as the countdown begins for the IPL 2025 auction. All teams are set to acquire 20–25 new players for the upcoming season. The auction has been scheduled to take place on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Looking at IPL retention 2025, some teams have retained their strong core, while others have parted ways with big players, aiming to hunt for fresh talent. But are you aware of the remaining purse available for each IPL team? Check out the full list and see all the marquee details.

CSK purse and RTM cards remaining
Five-time IPL champions CSK retained capped players Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube, and Matheesha Pathirana. Former India captain MS Dhoni was also retained as an uncapped player. The team now has INR 55 crore remaining with one RTM card left.
DC purse and RTM cards remaining
The team that has always backed promising talents, Delhi Capitals, has retained a young core comprising Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Tristan Stubbs, and Abhishek Porel. They now have a purse of ₹73 crore with two RTM cards remaining.
GT purse and RTM cards remaining
Gujarat Titans have once again backed Afghan spin king Rashid Khan, while Shubman Gill is also retained. Also, two uncapped players, Rahul Tewatia and Shahrukh Khan, are part of the team. The Titans will enter the auction with one Right to Match card available and a remaining purse of INR 69 crore.
KKR purse and RTM cards remaining
With no RTM cards left since the last IPL, champions KKR have retained Rinku Singh, Varun Chakravarthy, Sunil Narine, and Andre Russell. Additionally, Harshit Rana and Ramandeep Singh are back in the mix. Since they already have six players, there is no room for using RTM cards now. The team will click the IPL 2025 mega auction with a remaining purse of INR 51 crore.
LSG purse and RTM cards remaining
Since the team has a solid pack, which includes Nicholas Pooran, Ravi Bishnoi, Mayank Yadav, and uncapped names like Ayush Badoni and Mohsin Khan, they have covered all bases. However, they parted ways with KL Rahul and will now go to the IPL 2024 auction with a remaining purse of Rs. 69 crore, as they have already spent Rs. 51 crore.
MI purse and RTM cards remaining
With some top names in world cricket once again in the mix, such as Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, and Tilak Varma, five-time champions Mumbai Indians will go into the auction with INR 45 crore.
PBKS purse and RTM cards remaining
Punjab Kings retained two players, Prabhsimran Singh and Shashank Singh, going into the IPL 2025 mega auction. Now, team who is looking for their first IPL trophy, PBKS will revamp things and have a big purse of Rs. 110.5 crore. Punjab now also has four Right-To-Match cards.
RR purse and RTM cards remaining
Having already spent Rs. 79 crore on retaining their six players, which include Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Sandeep Sharma, the team now has just Rs. 41 crore left going into the IPL 2025 mega auction. And also no RTM left for them
RCB purse and RTM cards remaining
With a purse of Rs. 83 crore and three Right-to-Match cards, the team retained Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, and Yash Dayal. They also need to address other areas, but most importantly, it will be interesting to see who RCB appoints as captain.
SRH purse and RTM cards remaining
With SRH giving Heinrich Klaasen Rs. 23 crore, they also have Pat Cummins, Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Nitish Kumar Reddy. They now have Rs. 41 crore left, along with one RTM card.
