Friends reunited! Yuzi Chahal, Rohit Sharma, and others share light-hearted moments ahead of RR vs MI

A day before their teams faced off, the Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals players put aside their competitive edge to catch up and share a few laughs. With the crucial RR vs MI game scheduled for Monday at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Mumbai Indians will aim for a win to keep their IPL 2024 Playoffs hopes alive.

Mumbai Indians shared a heartwarming video of the two teams meeting. Ahead of the game day, the atmosphere was warm and full of camaraderie as the players from opposing teams greeted each other with a heartfelt hug. Yuzi Chahal and Yashasvi Jaiswal were seen joking around and having fun around Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav. The India skipper was also seen relaying some advice to youngster Jaiswal who is yet to find his form in the tournament.

Mumbai Indians will look to keep their playoff hopes alive with a win against RR. MI are positioned seventh on the table, having won three of their seven games this season. In their most recent outing, they defeated Punjab Kings by 9 runs. Suryakumar Yadav’s 78 off 53 balls and Tilak Varma’s 34* off 18 deliveries helped them post a total of 192.

Despite reducing the Punjab Kings to 49/5 early on, MI faced a tough fightback. Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma pushed them to the brink, but Jasprit Bumrah’s 3 for 21 in four overs helped them clinch a narrow win.
