Rajasthan Royals on Sunday posted a short clip of its captain Sanju Samson prepping for the IPL 2024 in style. In the video, Samson can be seen padding up before unleashing his wide array of shots at the bowlers.
Batter-keeper Samson, who will lead the franchise for the fourth successive season, will be looking to go all the way this time. Rajasthan Royals had a disappointing IPL 2023, finishing fifth and missing the play offs by a whisker. Sanju and his team will be looking to make amends this time around.
In a bid to go all the way this season, Samson is looking more focussed than ever. In a video posted by Rajasthan Royals on their social media handles, Samson looks someone straight out of a movie. Samson can be seen in the video tying his shoelaces and padding up before hitting the ground for a gruelling batting session.
Samson, whose wide range of shots is not unknown to many, can be seen smashing bowlers all around the park.
The video has been captioned ‘T-15’ by Rajasthan Royals. For the uninitiated, T-15 is a Russian heavy infantry fighting vehicle first used in 2015. Interestingly, Samson made his international T20 debut in 2015 as well.
