The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have shed their trademark red, black, and golden color combination. Ahead of the IPL 2024 season, the franchise has gone for a stylish blue and red look. By donning the brand new RCB jersey, the team would hope that their luck changes and the men’s team finally brings the cup home.

The new jersey was unveiled at the RCB Unboxing event at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, with Smriti Mandhana, Faf, and Kohli present. Later, the whole team entered the stage, donning the all-new red and blue jersey.
Having failed to win a title in the past 16 years, the new RCB jersey could be the start of something special for the franchise. With their women’s team claiming the franchise’s first-ever title just days ago, it’ll be up to the men’s team to finally come good.
The Royals also decided to change their name from Royal Challengers Bangalore to Royal Challengers Bengaluru, ten years after the city officially changed their. The name change has also brought about a logo change, with the B in RCB now representing Bengaluru.
