Losing crucial players close to a big tournament is a problem for any team, be it for franchises or national teams. However, Rajasthan Royals can get themselves some good replacements to deal in Zampa’s absence. Here are a few players that can replace the Aussie leg-spinner.
Adil Rashid: Adil Rashid can be a good like-for-like replacement for Adam Zampa for Rajasthan Royals. England leg-spinner Rashid played the 2023 Indian Premier League for Sunrisers Hyderabad but went unsold at the IPL 2024 mini auction. He registered in the auction at a base price of INR 2 crore, but no team showed interest in him. With Zampa pulling out of IPL, this might just be the chance for Adil to enter the fray.
Ashton Agar: Another unsold player at the IPL 2024 auction, Ashton Agar can be a potential game changer for Rajasthan Royals. With Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal in their ranks, the team is pretty set in the spin bowling department.
