SRH vs LSG Player Ratings: Head and Abhishek wreak havoc with 10/10 knocks, KL Rahul and co. decimated

With their massive win, SRH have boosted their chances to end up qualifying for the IPL 2024 playoffs

SRH vs LSG Player Ratings: The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) steamrolled past the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and decimated them with a 10-wicket win in Match 57 at Uppal on May 8.

The wicket in Hyderabad looked vastly different across the two innings as LSG struggled in posting up 165/4 in their 20 overs. SRH, however, ruled the roost as Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma combined together to hammer 167 runs in just a matter of 58 balls.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)

KL Rahul (3.5/10): The LSG skipper was simply disappointing with his innings of 29 that came at a miserable strike rate of 87.88.

Quinton De Kock (2/10): Unfortunate to get dismissed courtesy of a sensational catch by Nitish Reddy.

Marcus Stoinis (2/10): A poor show by the mighty Australian. He looked off colors and made only three runs.

Nicholas Pooran (8.5/10):
Player with the highest strike rate (184.62) for LSG, Pooran did what he is known for – finishing innings with aplomb.

Ayush Badoni (8.5/10): The young talent hammered his 4th IPL fifty as he was crucial for LSG’s first-innings.

Deepak Hooda (5/10): Hooda didn’t get any opportunity to bat or bowl vs SRH.

Krunal Pandya (7/10): Came to bat at No.4 and made a decent 24 off 21. He should’ve played for more overs in order to capitalize on his start.

Krishnappa Gowtham (4/10): Included in the team for this game, Gowtham didn’t inspire much confidence.

Yash Thakur (4/10): Thakur was hammered for 47 runs in his 2.3 overs as he lacked penetration.

Ravi Bishnoi (4/10): The wily leg-spinner was tasked to bowl inside the powerplay against the fiery SRH duo but failed completely.

Naveen-ul-Haq (4/10): Among the other LSG bowlers who had a tough night, the Afghani pacer also went for runs as he gave away 37 runs in his 2 overs.
