Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has signed Shamar Joseph in IPL 2024. The West Indies pacer joins the Lucknow outfits as a replacement for Mark Wood. The pace sensation is set to join LSG for a sum of 3 crore. Just a month ahead of the start of IPL 2024, LSG has bolstered their pace attack by getting the prized player.
Shamar Joseph has been hogging the limelight off late. The young pacer set fire in Australia when he was the star of the show. West Indies breached the fortress Gabba and Joseph was the chief architect for the same.
Currently nursing a foot injury, Shamar Joseph made himself unavailable for ILT20. But the youngster is set to make his debut in IPL. And he will do under the captaincy of KL Rahul for Lucknow Super Giants.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) named Shamar Joseph as replacement for pacer Mark Wood for the upcoming edition of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.Joseph will join LSG for INR 3 Crore. The speedster was recently at the forefront during West Indies’ Test win at the Gabba. He picked 7 wickets in the 2nd innings to script a historic win in Australia for West Indies. This will be Joseph’s first stint in the IPL.
