With IPL preparations for all teams in full swing, most of the T20 specialists from the country have already joined the respective camps. On Monday, India batter Rinku Singh was seen in action with a training camp with KKR, where he ended up hitting a junior player on the forehead, during the nets.
The team handle posted the video on X, where Rinku, in a kind gesture, went up to the young player, apologised and offer his hat to him.
Meanwhile, Rinku, who has been associated with the KKR for a long time, had a standout season with the team. In 14 matches, he scored 474 runs at a strike-rate of 149. In fact, he translated that form with his outings for Team India as well, and emerged a key contender for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
KKR is scheduled to play their first match against SRH on March 23, followed by encounters against RCB and DC. So far, only a partial schedule for the tournament has been announced.
