IPL 2024 Retention: The deadline for all Indian Premier League franchises has come to an end at 4 PM IST to submit the list of retained and released players to the BCCI ahead of the IPL 2024 Auction. And with that, there have been some interesting movements on the D-Day. While Hardik Pandya stays put with Gujrat Titans for now, there is still an option to trade until December 12. But the biggest update is of Ben Stokes and Josh Hazlewood.

Chennai Super Kings have released Ben Stokes who has opted out to manage injury. Royal Challengers Bangalore have released Josh Hazlewood, Wanindu Hasaranga and Harshal Patel to go into the IPL Auction on Dec 19 with a whopping Rs 40.75 Cr purse.

Currently, the IPL 2024 trade window is still open. And franchises can still make last-minute discussions before the auction. Already, five players have been traded but the potential big name is Hardik Pandya.

While it is still not confirmed by either franchise, Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans are in talks over a sensational trade of Hardik Pandya.
