Star Sports has unveiled a new 90-second promo that is sure to get fans excited with its humorous portrayal of their favorite players. The promo featured Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, and KL Rahul.

The ad opens with Rishabh Pant, sporting a turban, entering a dhaba reminiscent of the “Animal” movie in Delhi. Tears well up in his eyes as he witnesses the heartwarming hug between MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja after their 2023 IPL win.
Next, we see Shreyas Iyer, the Kolkata Knight Riders captain, embodying the stereotype of the well-behaved Bengali boy. However, this image is shattered when he witnesses Rinku Singh smash a six against Gujarat Titans on TV, prompting him to erupt in an unexpected dance, much to the shock of his family.
KL Rahul frustration, Hardik Pandya dandiya celebration:
KL Rahul of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) then takes center stage. Initially portrayed as a studious individual surrounded by friends during an RCB match, he throws away his books and launches into a rant against the umpire after a crucial wicket falls, exclaiming, “Out hi nahi hai yaar! Pagal hai ye log!” (He’s not even out! These guys are crazy!).
Finally, Hardik Pandya is depicted in a corporate setting, struggling to use chopsticks during a meeting with Japanese delegates. When the TV in the conference room shows Mumbai Indians clinching their fifth IPL title, he throws all decorum aside and breaks into a celebratory Dandiya dance, leaving the delegates bewildered.

The much-awaited IPL 2024 kicks off on March 22nd, with the opening match featuring Chennai Super Kings taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore at the iconic Chepauk Stadium.
