IPL 2024: LSG captain in each edition of Indian Premier League

Let us take a look at Lucknow Super Giants captains in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

IPL 2024: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) made their Indian Premier League debut back in 2022. Under the leadership of KL Rahul LSG also reached the top four teams in that edition. LSG then went on to repeat their antics of 2022 and reached the semi-finals of IPL 2023. On that note, let us take a look at Lucknow Super Giants captain in each IPL edition.

KL Rahul

As stated above, KL Rahul was named as LSG skipper after its formation in 2022. Overall, he has captained LSG in 25 matches and won 14 of them. On the other hand, he has lost 11 games. Rahul was ruled out of the IPL 2023 during its middle-stages, but he is expected to lead his side in IPL 2024.

Krunal Pandya

After KL Rahul’s absence, Krunal Pandya has handed over the leadership role in 2023. The all-rounder has led LSG in six games. Of those six matches, Krunal has won 3 games as the skipper while one match ended with no result.

Nicholas Pooran

Nicholas Pooran was made LSG captain in their second match of the IPL 2024. Pooran led LSG against the Punjab Kings in a group stage match of the IPL 2024. Under his leadership, Lucknow won its first match of the ongoing edition.
