IPL 2024: Kolkata Metro to run special midnight trains to aid commuters after KKR vs SRH at Eden Gardens

For the IPL T20 match of KKR vs SRH, metro services will leave from Esplanade at 00:15 and travel to Dakshineswar, arriving at 00:48.

Kolkata Metro on Wednesday announced that they will run special trains to aid spectators coming from different parts of the city to watch the match at Eden Gardens. Kolkata Knight Riders will kick off their IPL 2024 campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 23rd at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Metro authorities have made the decision to operate extra trains for the forthcoming IPL matches in order to better serve metro commuters. For the IPL T20 match of KKR vs SRH, metro services will leave from Esplanade at 00:15 and travel to Dakshineswar, arriving at 00:48. Starting at 00:15 from Esplanade, the extra train headed towards Kavi Subhash will arrive at the destination at 00:48.

Tokens and Smart Cards will be available at the booking counters at the Esplanade metro station during this time. The train will stop at every station along the route on both sides.
