Harry Brook will not be a part of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL 2024). In IPL, Harry Brook made his debut last season for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The English batter smashed a hundred against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), but his other performances did not help him justify his INR 13.25 crore price tag. Unsurprisingly, SRH released him before the auction. Not too many teams showed interest in the England batter at the IPL 2024 Auction. Eventually, Delhi Capitals signed him for INR 4 crore.

As stated above, Harry Brook was purchased at a cost of INR 13.25 crore by SRH in the previous edition. He was released by SRH ahead of the IPL 2024. DC paid a sum of INR 4 crore to bag Brook for IPL 2024. However, Brook has now opted out of the upcoming edition. As a result, he won’t be receiving the sum of INR 4 crore from the Capitals.

As per reports, the net worth of Harry Brook is around $3 million (approx INR 24 crores). Brook currently doesn’t have a full contract with the ECB but is on an incremental contract which is given to the players who are still proving their mark in international cricket. He earns around £14,500 (approx INR 14.5 Lakh) per Test and £4,500 (approx INR 4.5 Lakh) for a white-ball appearance.
