IPL 2024: Hardik Pandya displays power-hitting skills in first nets sessions as MI skipper

IPL 2024: Hardik Pandya had suffered an injury during the World Cup 2023, and has been out of action since then.

Hardik Pandya has be the most sought-after player just a few days prior to the start of the IPL 2024. And there are two solid reasons for it — the star all-rounder is making a comeback to Mumbai Indians after a few years, that too as a skipper, and also it will mark his return from injury.

Mumbai Indians will play their first match against Gujarat Titans on March 24, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, and Hardik will be up against his former team, who he led to an IPL trophy win as well. On Sunday evening, the Hardik had his first nets session for the team, where he blasted the bowlers, all over the park.

Meanwhile, there are a few injury concerns in the Mumbai Indians camp. Apart from Hardik himself, former skipper Rohit Sharma had not taken the field on the final day of IND vs ENG fifth Test, due to back spasms. Suryakumar Yadav too is at the NCA, undergoing a rehab after ankle surgery.
