IPL 2024: Gujarat Titans’ new anthem released, doesn’t feature any player

IPL 2024: Gujarat Titans' play their first match of the tournament on March 24 against Mumbai Indians.

On Thursday, the Gujarat Titans released the video of their team anthem for IPL 2024, ‘Aava De’. The video first appeared online on GT’s X profile, while the audio had been released a week earlier. Surprisingly, the anthem video did not feature any of the players from team, or the owners, but only the fans sporting GT jerseys and holding flags. The anthem is composed by Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani.

GT will play under a new captain, Shubman Gill this year, after Hardik Pandya went to Mumbai Indians as the skipper. That leaves a big void in the team, while pacer Mohammed Shami is also ousted due to an injury. Experienced batter Matthew Wade is also expected to miss a few matches for the Titans this year. Batsman Robin Minz has already been sidelined due to an accident.

But, having emerged as the most successful sides in the last two years, the GT will be riding high on confidence, and would like to once again perform well in the tournament.
