The thrill of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has already started with shocking announcements coming every day. With Mumbai Indian’s (MI) decision to declare Hardik Pandya the new captain of the team, IPL will witness three captaincy changes. After Hardik left the GT side, Shubman Gill was named the next captain of the team. Shreyas Iyer also replaced Nitish Rana as the skipper in the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya will be seen leading one of the most successful IPL team Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024. He has 31 matches experience as he has captained Gujarat Titans in two IPL seasons.

Shubman Gill

Shubman was the first choice for GT after Hardik left the side. He will try his hand first time in captaincy department. Fans will be keen to see the leadership quality of Shubman in the upcoming IPL.

Shreyas Iyer

KKR again switched to Shreyas Iyer to lead the side. He captained the team in 2022 but in the later year, Nitish Rana replaced him. Iyer has played 55 matches as a skipper. He first captained the Delhi Capitals (DC) in 2018.
