MS Dhoni

The most successful captain in IPL led the team from the front. He is the second-highest run-scorer of Chennai. He has smashed 4957 runs in 244 matches, coming down the order. He has an average of 38.72.

Faf du Plessis

He has played for the Chennai Super King in flexible batting positions. He has been effective both ways as he has come down to the middle and started the batting for them. Faf has played 100 games for the team and amassed 2932 runs. He has an average of 34.90 and a strike rate of 132.07.

Michael Hussey

In 50 games, he has amassed 1768 runs at an incredible average of 42. He is the batting coach for the Chennai Super Kings and is ranked in the top five batsmen in the team’s history. His 116* will always be cherished as the first-ever IPL century scored by a batsman for the Chennai Super Kings.

Murli Vijay
