Kumar Kushagra joined Delhi Capitals for a eye staggering price of 7.2 crore. After an intense bidding war between GT and CSK, it was the Delhi outfits who emerged victorious in acquiring the young wicket-keeper batter. Fans were in quite disbelief to see the sides breaking their bank to bid for a rather 19-year old player.
Starting with a mere base price of 20 lakhs, Kumar Kushagra’s bank balance has gone up by leaps and bounds. The young player from Jharkhand will be playing for the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024.

Kumar Kushagra is a 19-year old wicketkeeper from Jharkhand who has made quite a name for himself in the domestic circuit after putting in some powerful performances over the last few years.

It is understandable why Delhi Capitals broke the bank for Kumar Kushagra in light of his recent performances.
