Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta takes a selfie with Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Auction.
Before attending the IPL auction, Pant said that he is recovering well to get fit still the tournament.
“The kind of accident I had, I am lucky to be alive. The first part of recovery was so challenging with lots of pain, but now recovery is going well,” Pant said.
DC took their ‘X’ handle to share the insights of the mega event.
Rishabh Pant was part of the Delhi Capitals thinktank at the IPL 2024 auction table and images of him lifting the paddle during the bids were talked about throughout Tuesday.
Rishabh Pant has been out of action for nearly a year after a horrific car accident last December. It was therefore a great sight to spot him at the auction and he was in his elements, having fun and soaking in the atmosphere.
Rishabh Pant was named captain officially after missing out on the 2023 IPL. Earlier this year, he did come to the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi to cheer on for DC during one of their home matches. Later, he also visited the dressing-room to talk to the players.
