Jio Cinema on Sunday announced that it will conduct a Mock room IPL Auction on Monday, December 18 at 12 PM IST. The Mock room IPL Auction will be held to provide the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises with an experience of what goes down inside the auction room.
The mock auction will help the teams and the audience get used to the rules of the IPL 2024 Auction. The mock auction will take place according to the released list of players. The franchises will be informed about several things. They will be told several things such as when to raise the paddle to place bids for players. Moreover, how long will they have to place a bid, and how long will the auctioneer wait before selling a player after a bid is made.

Several former Indian and oversees players will take part in the event. The names include Suresh Raina, Eoin Morgan, Anil Kumble, Parthiv Patel. Aakash Chopra, Mike Hesson, RP Singh, Abhinav Mukund & Robin Uthappa will also take part.
The IPL 2024 Auction will take place on December 19 in the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai. 333 players will be auctioned in the mini auction. 214 Indians and 119 overseas players will go under the hammer. They will be hoping to get picked for one of the IPL franchises. The franchises in turn do not have a lot of slots left, with a total of 77 spots open among the franchises.
The mock auction might proved the viewers with some perspective of what to expect when the curtains rise on December 19.
