We are just a few hours away from the commencement of the IPL 2024 Auction. The IPL 2024 auction will be the first instance when an IPL auction will take place overseas. This IPL mini auction will be a grand affair set to happen at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai. Ahead of the auction, some pictures on social media emerged of the Coca Cola Arena being decked up.
The IPL 2024 Auction will see 333 players go under the hammer with 77 spots in the IPL teams up for grabs. There are 214 overseas players listed in the auction along with 119 Indians. Two are from associate nations. 30 spots among the 77 remaining spots are for overseas player.

Coca Cola Arena is a multi-purpose arena in the City Walk Area of Dubai, UAE. The venue opened its doors to the public in June, 2019. The arena has the capacity to hold 19,000 people.
Ahead of the IPL 2024 Auction, ‘Time Out Dubai’ released some snippets of the Coca Cola Arena being set up for the sporting spectacle. Several people can be seen inside the huge arena, while some cameras can also be seen in view.
When it comes to the remaining purse of each IPL team, the Gujarat Titans account for the highest amount of Rs. 38.15 crore. Sunrisers Hyderabad are in second place with Rs. 34 crore, followed by Kolkata Knight Riders with Rs. 32.7 crore, and Chennai Super Kings with Rs. 31.4 crore.
