The countdown to IPL 2024 has begun, with ten days left for the marquee tournament. Defending champions CSK will take on RCB in the tournament’s opener in Chennai on March 22. All teams have begun their pre-season training camps. Most players have joined their respective franchises as they gear up for the high-octane tourney.

12:35 PM: Rishabh Pant declared fit. NCA has declared Rishabh Pant fit, ending a 14-month ordeal since his near-fatal car crash.
“After undergoing an extensive 14-month rehab and recovery process, following a life-threatening road mishap on December 30th, 2022, near Roorkee, Uttarakhand, Rishabh Pant has now been declared fit as a wicket-keeper batter for the upcoming TATA IPL 2024,” BCCI said in a statement.
12:30 PM: Breaking! Prasidh Krishna is out of IPL 2024 in a huge blow to Rajasthan Royals.
“The fast bowler underwent surgery on February 23rd, 2024, on his left proximal quadriceps tendon. He is currently being monitored by the BCCI Medical Team and will resume rehab at the National Cricket Academy soon. He will not be able to take part in the upcoming TATA IPL 2024,” BCCI said in a statement.
