While Mumbai Indians sealed their third win of the campaign by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 14 runs, Arjun Tendulkar went on to claim his maiden IPL wicket. Sachin Tendulkar was ecstatic when his son grabbed his first wicket. After the game he presented the Man of the Match award to his son and claimed that ‘there is a wicket in our family now’. Arjun Tendulkar was tasked to bowl the last over of the game where he was to defend some odd 18 runs. The youngster kept his cool under the immesnse pressure and went on to deliver a fine over. In his process, he went on to dismiss SRH speedster Bhuvneshwar Kumar and thereby went on to claim his first IPL wicket in his only second game of the campaign.

“We have seen Sachin Tendulkar the player celebrate. Now it’s Sachin Tendulkar the father celebrating. This was a very important over to boost his self-confidence. Everyone says they saw him bowl yorkers, or as Zak bhai said, he swung the ball but executing the way he did in his second-ever match, it’s not easy. Even though he did bowl to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, I think he showed tremendous confidence,” said Pragyan Ojha.
