One such instance happened after the last evening’s Indian Premier League 2023 match between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings. PBKS after their win, tried to take a jibe against 5-time champions MI via Mumbai Police. But little did team from Punjab knew that this trolling will backfire on them brutally.
Every day, Mumbai Police are on top of their social media game. They have lit up Indian Twitter on several occasions with their hilarious and incredibly intelligent tweets. And this time it was PBKS turn to get roasted by them.
Some people believe they can outwit the social media squad of the Mumbai Police. Such individuals have been taught a valuable lesson on how taunting Mumbai Police might go wrong.
Mumbai Police Trolls Punjab Kings!
During match time, trolling is most prevalent on social media, especially in the Indian Premier League. Nobody spares the trolls and makes an effort to nullify them as much as they can by responding appropriately.
In a similar vein, Punjab Kings’ social media —who were undoubtedly ecstatic about their victory—sent a humorous tweet that said, “Hey Mumbai Police, we’d like to report a crime,” and included a photo of the stump that Arshdeep Singh had smashed in the 20th over.
Before Punjab Kings supporters could really appreciate it, Mumbai Police offered a fantastic counter-reply.

IPL 2023: PBKS defeat MI
Punjab Kings defeated Mumbai Indians in Match 31 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai to earn their fourth victory of the IPL 2023.
PBKS reached 214/8 thanks to captain Sam Curran’s game-changing 55 (29), Harpreet Singh’s aggressive 41(28), and Jitesh Sharma’s potent 25(7).
After that, Arshdeep Singh bowled a fantastic spell of 4/29 as PBKS overcame blitzes from Tim David (25* off 13), Suryakumar Yadav (57 off 26), and Cameron Green (67 off 43) to win the match by 13 runs.
