IPL 2023: Sanju Samson was once again snubbed by national selectors on Sunday while naming the team for India vs Australia ODIs. The Kerala batter was overlooked in favour of KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan who were retained as the wicketkeepers for the bilateral series. The wicketkeeper-batsman has been out of cricket for a month or two after suffering a knee injury during India vs Sri Lanka T20I series. He passed the fitness test and was expected to be picked for the ODI series against Australia. However, selectors decision to not pick Samson has once again turned out to be a buzzing topic on the internet.

Sanju Samson snubbed by selectors yet again
After suffering with knee injury during 1st T20I against Sri Lanka, Sanju Samson was released from the squad. He had hurt his knee while trying to take a catch. After working with his personal physio the wicketkeeper-batsman returned to NCA for further rehabilitation.
The Rajasthan Royals skipper made his India debut at the age of 21 years in a T20I match against Zimbabwe at Harare in 2015. It took almost 6 years for selectors yo give him another opportunity after making his debut in the shortest format of the game. Samson received his first ODI cap in 2021. The 28 years old, till date has featured for India in 11 ODIs and 17 T20Is.

Rajasthan Royals IPL 2023 Schedule
Rajasthan Royals will open their Indian Premier League 2023 (IPL) campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 2, 2023, in Hyderabad.
