IPL 2023: Indian Premier League 2023 – Punjab Kings have begun preparing for the upcoming season season of the Indian Premier League. With Shikhar Dhawan as their new captain, the team will try to start fresh and aim for better results. Dhawan posted a few pictures from Punjab’s practice session on Saturday on his Instagram account. The southpaw could be spotted practicing with his squad. In his 206 IPL appearances thus far, Dhawan has amassed 6244 runs, including 2 hundreds and 47 half-centuries.
Punjab Kings couldn’t make the playoffs the last year. In the first round, they played 14 games, winning 7 and losing 7. They were placed sixth in the standings. The team will strive to perform better in IPL 2023. They will play the Kolkata Knight Riders in their IPL 2023 season opener. The game is slated to take place at IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali on April 1.
