The 38-year-old cricketer took to Twitter on Thursday to share the news with his fans. In a video message, du Plessis expressed his excitement about joining the Star Sports’ expert panel for the final two matches of the IPL 2023.
Notably, Faf du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bangalore failed to secure a Playoff spot after suffering a defeat against Gujarat Titans in their final league game. While the team failed to reach the Playoffs, it was a successful campaign for Plessis as a batter as he scored 730 runs in 14 matches at an average of over 56.
